An ex-husband and wife team are reunited to star in a brand new musical, but off-stage the production is rife with ex-lovers’ quarrels and gangsters looking for kickbacks. Merriment abounds in this most classic of Broadway musicals.

General Harrison Howell*: Male aged 35-50. Sings. Lilli’s new fiancé. A rising politician and gentleman from Georgia. He’s handsome in a stuffy way. The embodiment of Petruchio in real life.

Harry Trevor/Baptista: Male aged 50+. Any vocal range. Veteran character actor, plays Katherine and Bianca’s father, “Baptista” in the musical version of “The Taming of the Shrew.
