DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS Coming To Plaza Theatre Company


Plaza Theatre Company set to open the outrageous musical comedy DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

Plaza Theatre Company is proud to announce the opening of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS on May 17th, 2013. The production will play Plaza’s newly renovated theatre at 111 S. Main Street in Cleburne, TX opening on May 17th and playing thru June 22nd. The show will be the 64th produced by Plaza Theatre Company since it’s inception in November of 2006.

The musical is based on the 1988 movie of the same name starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. Two con men work the French Riviera – one seduces rich ladies, the other swindles women with made-up stories. When they attempt to work together they discover the town isn’t big enough for the both of them. They agree the first to extract $50,000 from a young female heiress wins and the other must leave town. An outlandish battle of cons ensues.

The production is under the direction of Luke Hunt with musical direction by Doug Henry, choreography by Rachel Hunt, stage management by Monica Glenn and assistant stage management by Dana Siler. The show will open on Friday May 17th at 7:30pm and will then play every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening thru June 22nd at 7:30pm with Saturday matinees every Saturday afternoon at 3pm. Ticket prices are $15 for Adults, $14 for Seniors and Students and $13 for Children.
